1. Reinforcement for a concrete resurface. Wire mesh, different sizes of steel rebar, 2 ¼” structural synthetic fibers all are integrated into the pour.
2. Decorative layer is mixed and poured on site. Integral colors, PVA fibers, and internal water repellants are added to the mix. Stamped impressions are 1 ½” deep by ½” wide creating voids to be filled by grout.
3. Deep impressions are filled by contrasting colored grout mixed on site using a traditional mason’s grout bag.
4. Crew members then follow behind using slickers to compact and tool the grout joints for a refined, finished joint.
5. Finished job. Note that the contrast between the grout and the stamps will remain forever, even if product is never resealed. Also the brick row locks that are decoratively laid out to “hide” control joints.
